Welcome to the official website for Region 7 Clan
Buchanan Society International Inc. (CBSI) which
includes the states of Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas,
Missouri, Nebraska, North and South Dakota.
The CBSI was formed in 1970 as the Clan
Buchanan Society in America. It was founded at
the Grandfather Mountain Games in North
Carolina. The name was later changed to the Clan
Buchanan Society International Inc. to reflect our
society's expanded purpose and membership.
The society is divided into fifteen regions. The
commissioner for Region 7 is Christopher Lacher
who is the also the Regent for Minnesota and one
of the many conveners for the clan. You can

The Regent for Missouri is Jim Brewen. He and
his wife Janey are also conveners for the clan. You

The Regent for Nebraska is Mark Masterton. You
